With the combination of warming spices and sweet tastes, this shake will nourish and balance vata any time of the year. Enjoy as a wonderful way to begin your day or as a midday treat. The mix of ingredients supports the adrenals and your energy levels.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk
- 9 raw almonds, soaked and peeled (or 1 tablespoon almond butter)
- 2–3 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Tip: For a dairy-free option, use rice milk for a light, wholesome quality; oat milk for a sweet and cooling nature; or almond milk to energize.
