WHAT IS TEJAS?

TEJAS is a Sanskrit word meaning filled with brilliance, illumination & radiant heat.
It derives from the root Tij, meaning to sharpen, shine, endure & suffer patiently with courage, and the root Tej, meaning to heat, guard & defend.
TEJAS is the foundation for all transformational processes within the mental and subtle bodies.
In the mind, TEJAS rules the digestion & assimilation of information & thoughts, bringing mental clarity and courage to penetrate deeper truths.
On the most refined level, TEJAS is the fervor of spiritual practice, or Tapas, which purifies the spiritual body.
